Kelai is a very heady, uplifting & fast acting day time kava. Kelai kava is known for its rapid onset of cerebral effects, and is highly sought after.

This is probably the most locally desired kava in Vanuatu, where it is consumed socially at nakamals (kava bars). It is so popular in fact, most of it is consumed locally, and it is significantly harder to export from the island.

Kelai kava has an extremely high ratio of kavain to dihydromethysticin kavalactones, perhaps the highest in the world- explaining why it leans so much to the heady side with minimal sedation. Truly the perfect daytime kava, perfect for blissful socializing or relaxing.

Kelai kava is sooo good!

This one was my second purchase from designer kava, after loving the first kava product and loving it. The taste isn't bad to me and the effects both mentally and physically are fantastic. Like they say, it really is a great alternative to alcohol. This
variety of kava is as close to drinking alcohol as you can get. Seriously. This stuff really puts you into a euphoric and happy mood really quickly. Not very much of a body load with this one but that's just fine because you're feeling so nice you don't care. This one will for sure be my go to kava for life. It just works for me and I will be able to avoid alcohol much easier with this available.

Actually works.

I kinda bought this on a whim after seeing it in FB add. I’m not really into “eastern medicine” or homeopathic remedies, but I thought “what the hell?”. The first couple times I took it I didn't really feel anything and I was thinking it was just another snake oil product; but then after the third or fourth time it hit me. I felt a definite head buzz and mild body relaxation. I felt nice and light. It only lasts a few hours, which is unfortunate. It didn’t really help with anxiety or make me more outgoing. Don’t use it to treat anything but as a novel “high” without the hangover it’s pretty fun.

Worth the price

I grew up in Micronesia, and I’ve tried several mail order Kava companies. This is the only instant Kava product that keeps the potency high. The increased cost does not mean less Kava, you will use very little product each time you brew.
